William Jilltoft Vice President Northzone Will joined Northzone in 2018 and is based in the Stockholm office. As PJ’s Chief of Staff, he is PJ’s right-hand man on all matters across investments, research and operations.

Prior to joining Northzone, William was a Management Consultant at PwC in Stockholm. There, he co-founded its accelerator programme Future Of, connecting scale-ups andcorporates to generate commercial opportunities, with a first focus on health-tech.

Before PwC, Will was part of the team behind Brilliant Minds, the leadership summit founded by Spotify’s Daniel Ek and Ash Pournouri. Working directly with CEO Natalia Brzezinski, Will helped scale the event, developing long-term strategies, hiring and leading the intern team and being in charge of logistics.

Will has also previously worked for the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in New York, where he, amongst other things, was responsible for short-listing startups for a competition where PJ was on the jury. He has also spent three seasons as a fisherman on the Barents Sea. “Working with an international crew, under challenging conditions, for weeks at a time gave me a new sense of perspective. The key takeaway is teamwork, ingenuity and putting in the hours ultimately pays off.”

Will holds a M.Sc. in Finance and Management from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.

Outside of work, Will likes to travel off the beaten track, and is passionate about surfing. He plans to own and operate a hotel in Costa Rica one day.
