Christopher Cobbold Director, Corporate Development Huawei Technologies Chris has over 20 years of operational, strategy, VC and corporate development experience in the technology sector. He has led venture capital investments, supported M&A transactions and served as a board director at European technology start-ups.

At Huawei, Chris is a member of the Corporate Development team which sources, qualifies and executes strategic investment and acquisition opportunities on behalf of Huawei’s business units, product lines and R&D. Chris worked previously for Infineon, Intel and TVM Capital, a Munich-based venture capital firm.

Chris is an engineer by education and completed degrees at Queen’s University and the University of British Columbia. He is originally from Canada and has lived in Germany since 2001, following MBA studies at INSEAD.
